Sexier Bea Alonzo in New Movie 'And I Love You So'

Young actress Bea Alonzo said she had to go on a diet and attend yoga sessions to be in good shape for her upcoming movie "And I Love You So" with actors Derek Ramsay and Sam Milby.

Alonzo, who gained weight while taping for the defunct hit series "I Love Betty La Fea," obviously lost weight with a silvery tube-dress she wore during the renewal of her contract with ABS-CBN's movie outfit Star Cinema last Friday, June 19.

The actress said she attended bikram yoga sessions to be in shape, which is a requirement for her role in the upcoming movie.

"This is for the movie. Actually kailangan talaga ng pelikula, and I'm working on for myself again para ibang Bea ang makita ninyo dito," Alonzo said.

The actress said that aside from the yoga sessions, she has been on a no-carb diet, munching on eggs and bananas.

Alonzo said that aside from hard work and determination, it was her film director Laurenti Dyogi who challenged her to be fit again.

The actress said that as a proof of her effective diet, she lost almost 15 pounds in just four month. She said she can now wear the clothes she used in her 2007 hit film "One More Chance."

Even with her sexy body, Alonzo said she's still not yet ready to pose for men's magazines.

"Sa pelikula lang muna... at sa fashion magazine lang siguro," she said.

'And I Love You So'

Giving justice to the character she plays in the film "I Love You So" was Alonzo's motivation to have a perfect body.

Alonzo said she and her leading men are about to finish filming the movie.

"We are happy sa tinakbo. Talagang wow. Nakaka-inspire at alam mo na ang ganda ng tatakbuhin," she said.

She added that she felt comfortable working with sexy leading men, Milby and Ramsay.

"Pareho silang interesting and ang sarap kilalanin. They are really kind and really nice," Alonzo said.

"And I Love You So" is about a young woman (Alonzo) who lost her husband. In her solitude, she will meet a man (Milby) who is a complete opposite of her late husband.

Bea Admits Undergoing Cosmetic Procedure

“If makakatulong sa personality mo, why not?” sang-ayon ni Alonzo.

Kung ito raw ay makapagpapaangat ng self-confidence ay pabor siya rito.

“Kanya-kanya ‘yan.

Police focus on medical treatment in Jackson death

Police investigating Michael Jackson's death looked into his medical treatment Friday, seeking to interview one of the pop king's doctors and seizing a car that they said may contain drugs or other evidence.

As medical examiners began an autopsy for Jackson, police towed a BMW from rented home "because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death," police spokeswoman Karen Rayner said.

She said the car belongs to one of Jackson's doctors whom police wanted to interview. Rayner said she did not know the doctor's identity and stressed the doctor was not under criminal investigation.

The autopsy began Friday morning and was expected to last several hours. An official determination on cause of death was not expected for weeks or longer, until more sophisticated tests are completed.

In a 911 call released by fire officials, a caller reports Jackson was on a bed and not breathing or responding to CPR. The unidentified caller said Jackson only was with his personal doctor at the time. The pop star died later Thursday afternoon at UCLA Medical Center.

The Death of Michael Jackson

On June 25, 2009, he collapsed at his rented mansion at 100 North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles. Attempts at resuscitating him by his personal physician were unsuccessful. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics received a 911 call at 12:22 p.m., arriving three minutes later at Jackson's location. He was reportedly not breathing and CPR was performed. Resuscitation efforts continued both en route to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and for an hour further after arriving at approximately 1:13 p.m. He was noted to have been in cardiac arrest by the paramedics who attended him at his house. He was pronounced dead at approximately 2:26 p.m.

At some point during the 1990s, it appears that he became dependent on prescription drugs, mainly painkillers and strong sedatives, and his health deteriorated dramatically. He went into rehab in 1993 with the help of Elizabeth Taylor and Elton John, but the addiction remained.

He is using pethidine (Demerol) surfaced.Propofol (Diprivan), a powerful anesthetic normally used only in hospitals, was also recovered from his home.In addition to pethidine and propofol, he is believed to have used Xanax, Prilosec, Soma, Vicodin, Paxil, Dilaudid, Zoloft, and Oxycontin.

Cherilyn Lee, a nurse who provided nutritional counseling to Jackson, said that he asked her in May 2008 to supply him with propofol for his chronic insomnia. Lee refused, telling him, "Michael, the only problem with you taking this medication ... is you're going to take it and you're not going to wake up." Jackson dismissed the warning, telling her he had been given the drug before, by IV injection, and that his doctor told him it was safe. He did not name the doctor. An overdose of propofol can cause the patient to stop breathing, leading to a buildup of carbon dioxide in the body that can lead to erratic heartbeat and cardiac arrest.

According to Lee, she received a frantic call on June 21, 2009 from an aide on Jackson's staff. The aide reported that Jackson was feeling ill. Lee reported overhearing Jackson complain that one side of his body was hot, the other side cold. She believed that somebody had given him something that affected his central nervous system. She advised the aide to take him to hospital.

Michael Jackson

Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 was an American recording artist, entertainer and businessman. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he made his debut as an entertainer in 1968 as a member of The Jackson 5. He then began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group, and that successful career led to him being dubbed the "King of Pop" in subsequent years. Jackson's 1982 album Thriller remains the world's best-selling album of all time, and four of his other solo studio albums are among the world's best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).

In the early 1980s, he became a dominant figure in American popular music and culture. He was the first African American entertainer to amass a strong crossover following on MTV, with videos such as "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and Thriller—widely credited with transforming the music video from a promotional tool into an art form—bringing fame to the relatively new channel. Videos such as "Black or White" and "Scream" made Jackson an enduring staple on MTV well into the 1990s. Beyond his success on television, Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk, with his elaborate stage performances. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style influenced many hip hop, pop music and contemporary R&B artists across several generations.

Jackson donated and raised millions of dollars for beneficial causes through his Heal the World Foundation, charity singles, and support of 39 charities. Other aspects of his personal life, including his changing appearances and behavior, generated significant controversy that damaged his public image. Though he was accused of child sexual abuse in 1993, the criminal investigation was closed due to lack of evidence and Jackson was not charged. The singer had experienced health concerns since the early 1990s along with conflicting reports regarding the state of his finances since the late 1990s. Jackson married twice and fathered three children, actions which caused further controversy. In 2005, Jackson was tried and acquitted of different sexual abuse allegations and several other charges.

One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records—including one for "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time"—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career—more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era—and the sales of over 750 million records worldwide. Jackson's highly publicized personal life, coupled with his successful career, has made him a part of popular culture for almost four decades.
