Miss Australia Universe 2009 is Rachael Finch. She was crowned Miss Universe Australia on April 22nd, 2009. She was in controversy that almost dethroned her from the Miss Universe Australia title, she was also in an alligator incident just a few days before leaving for the Bahamas. As Rachael Finch was leaving a crocodile show at the Crocodylus Park in Darwin she was almost attacked by an crocodile who tried to bite her.
