Taylor Hits Global Sales Highs, Scoring Fourteen Gold and Platinum Albums Worldwide

Taylor Swift, who sold more albums last year than any other artist, is making a significant impact on the global music scene, earning Gold and Platinum sales certifications in fourteen countries spanning five continents.

Her FEARLESS album, rapidly approaching quadruple-platinum in the US, has earned the following international sales awards:

FEARLESS has spent 11 weeks so far in the #1 position atop Billboard's all-genre Top 200 Sales chart, and 21 weeks at #1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Taylor's self-titled debut CD, released on Big Machine Records in 2006, was certified Quadruple-Platinum this week. Taylor has sold more albums than any artist in the world so far this year, and her paid music downloads now exceed 19.5 million songs.

FEARLESS has reached the Top 5 on the sales charts in 13 countries, and Taylor's #1 single "Love Story" has become a global sensation, topping airplay charts worldwide, in countries including the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. This week Taylor is celebrating her 4th consecutive #1 single in the US, and her fifth #1 out of her last six singles released.

Tickets to shows on the Taylor Swift FEARLESS 2009 Tour remain the hottest on the market, with capacity crowds packing arenas around the globe.
