Miss Ukraine Universe 2009 is Kristina Kots-Gotlib. She was crowned Miss Ukraine Universe on February 29, 2009. She started her career modeling while studying at the Donetsk Trade and Economy Institute where she received her Masters Degree in International Economics. She has won dozens of local and national beauty contests, and also started her singing career in 2005 with the pop Ukrainian/Russian girl trio VIA-Gra.
