Miss Curaçao Universe 2009 is Angenie Simon a 23-year-old accounting student and financial assistant from Willemstad who has been assigned as her country's representative to Miss Universe 2009 after the original titleholderAshanta Macauly gave up her crown due to physical and health problems. Simon is the current Miss Caribe Hibiscus. She competed in Miss Curacao 2009 pageant (for Miss World) and placed second.
